My Approach

Reaching out for support can feel intimidating, but it’s also the first step toward real change. My goal is to offer a safe, caring space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported along the way.

As an Asian-American and biracial therapist, I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work. I am deeply committed to supporting clients who are navigating questions of identity, belonging, and the impact of cultural or racism and discrimination trauma.

I also have a strong commitment to working with neurodivergent clients. My approach is affirming and strengths-based, helping individuals move away from seeing themselves as “broken” and instead recognize the unique value they bring.

In my practice, I draw from evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and somatic-based practices. These methods allow me to adapt therapy to your unique needs—whether you’re processing trauma, managing anxiety, or seeking greater self-understanding.

I am EMDRIA Certified with advanced training in EMDR, and I am trained in ACT and IFS. This blend of approaches allows me to meet you where you are and support your healing in a way that feels both effective and compassionate.

Licensed to provide therapy in Missouri and Iowa.
